Atlanta chiropractor Dr. Peterson specialized in upper cervical specific chiropractic

Dr. Kristofor Peterson, DC

Atlanta Chiropractor

Kristofor Peterson is a third-generation chiropractor with over 23 years of clinical experience. Originally from a small town in the southern tier of New York, Dr. Peterson earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta.

For many years, Dr. Peterson practiced traditional full-spine chiropractic and built a successful practice serving the Virginia Highland and greater Atlanta communities. His professional path took a pivotal turn after developing lower back issues that threatened his ability to continue practicing. After seeking care from several chiropractors, he found lasting relief only through Upper Cervical Chiropractic.

That single approach not only resolved his back pain, but also eliminated chronic sinus infections, headaches, slurred speech, and a lazy eye—symptoms he had not previously associated with spinal misalignment. This experience profoundly changed both his health and the direction of his career.

Since then, Dr. Peterson has completed more than 200 hours of advanced postgraduate training and certification in Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic. He now delivers the same high standard of care that played a role in his own recovery, with a deep appreciation for precision-based chiropractic.

Dr. Peterson is a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Council of Chiropractic, a prominent professional nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting, promoting, and advancing principled, subluxation-centered chiropractic care throughout the state of Georgia. He is also a member of the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations and a strong advocate for preserving chiropractic as a distinct and principled healthcare discipline.

Today, Dr. Peterson focuses on Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic care, using advanced analysis and objective findings to help improve communication between the brain and body. His approach is centered on precision, nervous system function, and lasting results.

Outside the office, Dr. Peterson enjoys boating, snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, photography, and live music. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Tania, and their daughter, Eve.
