Originally from a small town in the southern tier of New York, Dr. Kris Peterson is a third-generation Chiropractor who graduated from Life University in Atlanta with a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic.
With over 14 years of experience practicing in the Full Spine model of traditional chiropractic, Dr. Peterson’s expertise allowed him to build a successful practice in the heart of Virginia Highland, serving the Atlanta communities.
After turning 40, he began playing golf, which led to lower back problems threatening his ability to continue practicing Chiropractic. After visiting several chiropractors throughout Atlanta, the only relief he found was through an Upper Cervical Chiropractic adjustment.
This adjustment not only relieved his back pain, but also eliminated other symptoms he was experiencing including chronic sinus infections, slurred speech, headaches, and a lazy eye. Upper Cervical Chiropractic adjustment changed Dr. Peterson’s life and the direction of his future practice.
Having completed over 200 hours of advanced post-graduate training and certification in Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic, Dr. Peterson now delivers the same high, quality standard of care that led to his own recovery.
His own personal experiences have made Dr. Peterson a compassionate and understanding practitioner who recognizes the unique needs of every patient and wholeheartedly believes that the Upper Cervical Chiropractic approach can help achieve optimal healing and restore patients’ health.
Dr. Peterson is an active member of the Georgia Chiropractic Council and the International Federation of Chiropractic Organizations. He is also a strong advocate of keeping Chiropractic a separate and distinct form of healthcare and continues to promote its heritage and lexicon.
In his spare time, Dr. Peterson enjoys boating, snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing and repelling, photography, and live music. He and his wife, Tania, have a daughter, Eve.
Lauren Rindner, DC
ATLANTA CHIROPRACTOR
Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Lauren discovered her passion for holistic healthcare through her own health journey and struggle with chronic illness. Prescribed many medications by medical doctors and specialists over the years, Dr. Lauren wanted to find a solution for herself that would offer permanent relief with no side effects. Eventually, Dr. Lauren resolved many of her own health issues through dietary changes, which brought about the questions: Why had the countless specialists she consulted never mentioned that it was possible to resolve her symptoms with simple dietary changes? Furthermore, how many other chronic illnesses could be resolved by simply attaining better health, as opposed to treating symptoms while the underlying disease process progressed, not to mention the myriad of side effects of the medications?
With this new-found passion, Dr. Lauren eventually found herself in a chiropractic office outside of Philadelphia, learning everything she could about chiropractic as a prospective new career path. One day when she was shadowing at this office, a 16 year-old girl came in for care. The doctor proclaimed, “This is one of my miracle cases.” He pulled up x-rays from her first day of care; Her neck looked completely mangled in these images. The doctor explained that she had fallen down a flight of stairs, broke her neck, and was told by medical doctors that she would never walk again. After her fractures healed, the chiropractor restored the structure of her spine. Due to the chiropractic care she received, she was not only able to rise from her wheelchair and walk again, but she also went on to live a completely normal life. The discovery of the incredible potential of chiropractic to help patients heal made such a significant impression on Dr. Lauren that she decided to leave the corporate world behind and dedicate her life to this work.
After she committed to becoming the best chiropractor she could be, Dr. Lauren went on to attend Life University in Marietta, Georgia, where she graduated with Honors. After exploring every chiropractic technique, Dr. Lauren honed in on the specialties of Upper Cervical Chiropractic and the Pierce Results System of spinal correction. She chose these specialties because of their ability to attain efficient, yet long lasting results due to the use of advanced technology and data. She witnessed first-hand how highly effective these techniques are in helping patients recover from various ailments. She also loved that each patient’s results were proven by objective measures with these methods. Once Dr. Lauren completed several internships as well as countless hours of study in her areas of focus, she returned to the Philadelphia area to complete an apprenticeship with Dr. James Galgano, the lead chiropractor of the Pierce Results System. After that, she went on to train with Dr. Kris Peterson, a leading expert in the field of Upper Cervical Chiropractic. Due to her extensive training, continued study, and clinical diligence, Dr. Lauren passionately offers the highest level of chiropractic care in her specialties.
Dr. Lauren is also a big fan of staying active in order to maintain her health. In her spare time, she enjoys trail running, paddleboarding, and many other outdoor activities. She is passionate about endurance sports as a potent vehicle of personal transformation, competing in everything from half marathons to ultra-marathons. Dr. Lauren is also a dog-mom to a mischievous Australian Shepherd named Harley.
